School Presentation
Wing Latitude is an itinerant wingfoil school based in Pénestin, between Morbihan and Loire-Atlantique, run by Benjamin Béret, a state-qualified instructor (BPJEPS). He says he has been wingfoiling since 2020 and teaching since 2021, and reports more than 400 students trained. The website shows a Google rating of 5/5 from 120 reviews.
Group lessons are open from age 10, from beginner to advanced, in groups of 4 to 5 people with radio coaching and an introduction to boat-towed foiling. The school also offers electric foil for beginners without wind, a multi-day improvement camp with accommodation (Breizh Foil Camp), rental with coaching for independent riders, and a boat-supervised downwind introduction.
Lessons mainly take place at the Kerandré beach in Pénestin, with a trailer allowing a change of spot according to the wind. Duotone and ION equipment, wetsuit, helmet and vest are provided. The school is open seven days a week from March to November, following wind and tides; booking is online.
