La Vague Sablaise

La Vague Sablaise is a surf school and rental base located on the Grande Plage of Les Sables-d'Olonne, at 48 promenade Georges Clemenceau, in the heart of town. Lessons are supervised by a state-qualified instructor and are open to beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers, with no prerequisites; boards and wetsuits are provided.

Group lessons are organised by age: Pitchounes (ages 4-7, 4 per group, 60 min), Juniors (8-12, 1.5 h) and teens/adults from 12 (1.5 h). Sunset Lover sessions (6 people, 1.5 h) run from June to September. The school also offers private, cocooning (3 or 4 people) and exclusive lessons, as well as packages for groups, works councils and stag/hen parties, from April to June and September to November.

For rental, it offers Sooruz wetsuits made from recycled polyester and surf and bodyboard boards from Softech. Booking is done online.
