Institut Sports Océan

The Institut Sports Océan (ISO) is an establishment of the city of Les Sables-d'Olonne: a water sports centre, training centre and accommodation centre all in one, located between the lake and Tanchet beach (1 promenade Philippe de Villiers). It relies on two sites, the Tanchet base and the sea base, and is open all year.

The water sports offer runs from age 2 to adults: Jardin des mers, Moussaillon, Optimist and Pico, catamaran, dinghy, windsurfing, performance sailing, surfing, stand up paddle, wave ski, multi-sport, kayak and longe-côte, in courses (spring, summer, autumn, winter), private lessons, rental and family discovery, plus an outing on an Imoca racing yacht and group activities.

The ISO provides instructor training: practical and technical courses and the CQP IV in sailing, and the BPJEPS surf instructor. It has 90 beds in 30 rooms with views of Tanchet beach or the lake, a self-service restaurant, three meeting rooms and a rooftop.

Monday to Friday, 9 am-12 pm and 2 pm-6 pm (until 5 pm on Friday).
