Base nautique de Saint-Jean-de-Monts

The Saint-Jean-de-Monts Water Sports Base, run by SEML Saint Jean Activités, is located at 11 avenue de l'Estacade and is open all year. It combines schools, rentals, a surf shop, a bar and a terrace facing the ocean.

The offer includes sand-yachting, sailing (catamaran, optimist, trimaran accessible from age 5 with family), surfing, kitesurfing, kitefoil reserved for riders who already master the kite, wingfoil for independent riders (new in 2026), wingskate, skateboarding (groups by age and level, three-day courses in summer), paddle, kayak and sea walking, as well as sea and wave gardens for younger children.

All instructors are state-qualified. The website offers sessions, courses, group or private lessons, groups, leisure sailing, gift vouchers and training, with catamaran, surf, paddle and kayak rental. The base displays the Accueil Vélo, Welcome and On Piste labels.
