Saint Hilaire Nautisme

Saint Hilaire Nautisme is the sailing, surf and land-yacht school of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, in the Vendée. It operates three bases: the Plan des Vallées lake, the plage des Demoiselles and Sion-sur-l'Océan. Its administrative address is the town hall.

The Vallées base, open all year, is built around a sheltered 10-hectare lake: Petits Marins, Optimist, catamaran, windsurfing, windfoil, stand-up paddle, canoe, pedal boats, plus adaptive sailing boats (Caravelle, Minij). Sion-sur-l'Océan offers dinghy, catamaran, windsurfing, a "Jardin des mers" programme, paddle and canoe-kayak; the plage des Demoiselles is devoted to land yachting, surf, paddle and canoe.

The school welcomes groups, schools and individuals, rents equipment (SUP, surf, kayak, bodyboard, catamaran, dinghy, windfoil, pedal boat) and runs federal instructor training in sailing, surf and land yachting. The website displays the logos of FFVoile, FFCV, École française de surf, Tourisme et Handicap and Sport Santé Pays de la Loire.
