Habia Surf School

Habia Surf School is a local, independent surf school in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, run by Julien, a state-qualified instructor with about ten years of experience. It is listed by the Basque Country tourist office, and its website announces the summer 2026 season as well as year-round lessons; a photographer, Manon, accompanies the summer season.

The offer includes 1.5-hour group lessons by level (maximum 6 people), private lessons, longboard lessons for intermediate to advanced levels, year-round lessons through the Habia Surf Club (one lesson a week, on Wednesday or at the weekend, from April to December except July and August), surf guiding in spring and autumn, 3- and 5-day courses, tailor-made surf trips for 1 to 5 people and events (hen and stag parties, seminars, birthdays, holiday camps). A wetsuit and board are provided in all packages.

Julien chooses each day the spot best suited to the conditions and the group's level, in Bidart, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Hendaye or Guéthary, with a contact area in and around Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
