Artha Surf Club

Artha Surf Club is an association of surfers from Saint-Jean-de-Luz, based since 2002 at the Erromardie spot and affiliated with the French Surfing Federation. It describes itself as a community surf school: membership comes with volunteer support for the club's activities, and its website presents an educational project, the types of membership and a gallery of 2025 photos.

The club gives weekly lessons all year, lasting 1.5 hours, for children and adults of all levels, from complete beginners to more experienced surfers. During school holidays it runs group surf courses, including discovery lessons, limited to 8 students per instructor. Private lessons are also available.

Sessions take place at Erromardie, Lafitenia and Cénitz in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, and at other Basque coast spots (Hendaye, Guéthary, Bidart, Biarritz) depending on conditions. The club is also on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
