École de la Glisse Bidart

L'École de la Glisse is a surf school operating from a hut on Erretegia beach in Bidart, next to the Kanttu restaurant, on a beach the school describes as one of the wildest in the Basque Country. It is labelled École Française de Surf.

It is run by two former competitors turned coaches, David and Thomas. The offer includes initiation (from age 11), private lessons (all ages), the Grommets group (ages 6 to 10) and off-season lessons, for all levels.

Each session follows the same progression: explanations on land and safety analysis, practice on the sand, a session in the water, then feedback on the beach.
