School Presentation
The Océanides surf school has been active since 2002 on the Océanides area of Capbreton, a three-kilometre stretch mixing lifeguarded and wild beach. The meeting point given by the tourist office is Océanides beach, dune side, towards the VVF.
It offers surf lessons for discovery or improvement, in groups of up to 8 people, as well as on-demand courses, group rates, private lessons and equipment rental. It also states it teaches bodyboarding.
The team has three instructors: Cédric (15 years in the job), Guillaume (20 years) and Hugo (9 years). Instructors are certified by the French Surfing Federation and hold the state sports educator diploma in surfing.
The Landes tourist office announces opening from 1 April to 1 November 2026.
