Water Addict Surf Academy

Water Addict Surf Academy (WASA) was created in 2009 by Franck Ehrhard, who has over twenty years of experience teaching and coaching surfing. The school was born in his villa behind the Capbreton dunes; it is a family project, with Karen managing the camp.

The offer covers surf lessons and courses for all levels, coaching (PERF), lessons for children from age 4, group lessons and a year-round surf club, as well as bodyboard and stand up paddle courses. Surf camps with full-board accommodation are for teens aged 11 to 18 (beginner, intermediate/advanced or performance/competition levels) and adults, in intensive or relaxed formats, with camps announced notably for the All Saints holidays.

Rental includes foam and resin surfboards, winter and summer wetsuits, SUP, carvers, bodyboards and fins. Three apartments and a villa near the beach are also offered as holiday rentals. Instructors are qualified.
