FiNe (Miura Kaigan)

FiNe is a windsurfing and wing foil school with a pro shop in Miura Kaigan, Kanagawa Prefecture, close to Miurakaigan station. The shop runs a membership system and also offers equipment rental, new and used gear sales and beach barbecue rental.

The wing foil programme has three steps: a first towed-foil session behind a jet ski to learn foil control, then a wing-only session on a large daggerboard board, and finally a full wing foil session for those who completed the first two. Full equipment and use of the school's beach are included, and a life jacket is free at the first session.

For windsurfing, graded lessons from beginner to shortboard with harness are described on the website, along with member-only courses for progression (beach start, jibe, planing, water start). Some windsurf lessons are shown as temporarily suspended, so it is best to call before visiting.

Open 9:00 to 17:00 (phone answered 9:00 to 16:00). Closed on Thursdays (open on public holidays); from December to March also closed on the first and third Monday of the month. Occasional extra closures.
