Escuela de Surf Olón

Escuela de Surf Olón is the first local surf school in Olón, on the coast of Santa Elena province, Ecuador. It started in 2012 around Patricio Reyes, a surfer from Olón who began teaching from a stand on the beach. It now has an office and surf shop one block from the beach, on Calle Rosa Mística.

The team numbers around twenty coaches, men and women, who speak Spanish and English. Lessons are open to children from age 3 as well as adults, from beginners to advanced surfers. The school offers private and group lessons, a 5-lesson basic course, a 12-lesson holiday course and group packages, plus board rental.

It also sells surf-and-stay packages, with a night in a shared or private room and lessons included, and runs its own transport: lessons are given from Ayampe to Punta Blanca.
