Rebelde Surf School

Rebelde Surf School is a surf school at Playa Maderas, near San Juan del Sur. It welcomes all ages and abilities, from first-timers to experienced surfers, and aims to teach respect for the ocean as well as surfing.

Lessons are private or in small groups (up to three people), with the board included in the price. Multi-lesson packages include a video analysis, and the five-day camp takes students to nearby beaches such as Playa Hermosa and Remanso, with transport, snacks, and sessions on rip currents and reading waves.

The school also rents short, beginner and long boards by the day, week or month, and repairs damaged boards.
