School Presentation
Windy Essaouira is a mobile kitesurf and surf school that follows the wind and the day's conditions to pick the best spot on the Atlantic coast, between Diabat, Essaouira and Sidi Kaouki. It is run by Mohamed Achhibat, an IKO-certified instructor and national kitesurf champion of Morocco, who has been teaching for more than eight years in French, English and Arabic.
Kitesurf lessons go from the first flight of the kite to freestyle, with recent gear included. Surf is taught on waves and spots chosen according to level, from foam boards to the line-up, with boards and wetsuits provided. The school quotes one instructor for two students.
It also offers kitesurf or surf camps with accommodation at Villa Amwaj, a house with a private pool between Essaouira and Sidi Kaouki.
