Dreamkite Essaouira

Dreamkite Essaouira is the Essaouira centre of the Dreamkite group, whose first school opened in Dakhla in partnership with the French association UCPA. It occupies the nautical base in Essaouira bay, the building listed as « UCPA Horizon / Dreamkite »: Dreamkite provides the instruction, UCPA sends its course participants there and houses them at the Hôtel Miramar, directly opposite. The school teaches kitesurfing and surfing from beginner to advanced, in private lessons, in groups and for children.

Instruction is delivered by certified, bilingual English-French instructors, in small groups — up to four students per instructor in the water for kitesurfing where possible — with radio helmets and recent equipment. The programme includes multi-day kite camps, downwind adventures and progression coaching. The school describes Essaouira bay as wide and safe, suitable for every level, with reliable and strong winds from April to October.

Stays combine lessons and accommodation, in a riad in the medina or a guesthouse near the beach, in a shared or private room, breakfast included. Full equipment, wetsuit, safety gear and shuttles to the spots are included, as are photos and videos from one session. A flexible clause swaps the kite lesson for a surf lesson on windless days. Optional extras: airport transfers, a sunset yoga class, a downwinder and a full-board meal plan.

No daily opening hours are published. The school states reliable and strong winds from April to October. Bookings go through WhatsApp, email or the website form, and a welcome briefing in the medina is arranged on arrival.
