Kamakura Hi-surf (鎌倉ハイサーフ)

Kamakura Hi-surf is a windsurfing and stand up paddle school and rental centre on Yuigahama beach, in Sakanoshita (Kamakura), right on the seafront. Hase station, three stops from Kamakura on the Enoden line, is a five-minute walk away.

The school offers introductory windsurfing and SUP lessons, with equipment rental included (board, sail, paddle, wetsuit). The water in front of the shop is shallow, which suits beginners. Photos of the SUP session are given to students who agree to their publication. The business also rents gear and offers board lockers.

The clubhouse has a roof terrace overlooking Kamakura bay, and hot showers. During the swimming season, the beach in front of the shop remains a designated launch area for windsurfing and SUP.
