Fareast (Kamakura)

Fareast is a long-established watersports school in Zaimokuza (Kamakura), on a shallow and safe beach. It teaches windsurfing, stand up paddle, surfing and outrigger canoe (a six-paddler team boat), for students from teenagers to people in their seventies.

It offers a one-day introduction for people who have never tried or are returning after a long break, with beginner-friendly gear and a course prepared for safety. The school also takes members and sells new and used gear (sails, wetsuits), with gear test days held regularly.

Daily 10:00 to 18:00, all year round.
