SPF Surf Coaching is a small surf school in General Luna on Siargao Island, founded by Allan Derecho, who is its head coach. Sessions take place at Cloud 9 and the surrounding breaks, with low student-to-coach ratios.
The team welcomes beginners as well as advanced surfers preparing for competition. It reports two decades of experience, from Philippine national championships to ISA judging. Children are accepted from the age of four.
The offer includes kids and family coaching, surf guiding, progression coaching, video analysis, photography and drone footage, surfskate sessions, land coaching and surf-fitness programmes. A guide to Siargao's surf spots is published on the website.
