Siargao Surf Academy is a surf school run by Jun, born and raised in Santa Cruz on Siargao Island. An ISA-certified instructor, he has been teaching for over seven years and counts himself among the island's first instructors. Lessons take place around Cloud 9 in General Luna.
The beginner course includes land training, then catching waves in the water, board included. Intermediate and advanced surfers work on wave selection, timing, turns and manoeuvres, or go guiding to quieter spots. The school also offers drone footage with video analysis, surfskate training and day trips to the north of the island.
