Get Wet Surf School

Get Wet Surf School is a family-owned surf school on the Gold Coast, licensed to operate since 2005 at The Spit in Main Beach, the locals' favourite learn-to-surf beach. The site is a non-bathing reserve, which leaves plenty of room on the sand to set up each lesson.

The school offers beginner lessons for adults and kids (from age 6), private lessons, family lessons, progression programs for adults and kids (including a 6-week program for ages 8 to 14) and school and corporate groups. It advertises a maximum of five students per coach.

Instructors are qualified surf lifesavers certified to Surfing Australia standards, and the school states it operates with full council approval. Pick-up is offered from several Gold Coast locations, and the website is also available in Japanese.
