Gold Coast Kitesurfing

Gold Coast Kitesurfing is a kitesurfing school based in Runaway Bay, on the northern Gold Coast. Lessons take place on the sandbanks of the Broadwater, where the water is flat and shallow, with a powered rescue boat following the students.

The school is accredited by Kiteboarding Australia, holds a government permit to teach on this stretch of water and is covered by commercial insurance. It advertises an IKO Level 3 instructor who speaks English and Chinese. Wing foil lessons are also offered.

Gold Coast Kitesurfing also sells Naish gear: kites, control bars, twin-tips, directional boards, foils, wings, harnesses and apparel, including second-hand equipment. The shop is listed as open seven days a week, 7am to 10pm.
