Overview

The Spit Lagoon is a kitesurf spot located on the Gold Coast, in southern Queensland. This lagoon at the end of the Spit offers calm waters of the Broadwater, sheltered from the ocean swell. The spot works with the southeast trade winds. Flat water in the Broadwater, ideal for freeride and freestyle. Suited to intermediate and advanced riders. Access from the Spit. Active kite community on the Gold Coast.
