School Presentation

Byron Bay Kitesurfing is one of Australia's longest-running kitesurfing schools. It was founded in 2000 by Jason Golding, who had been running a windsurfing school in Lennox Head since 1994. He says he has taught more than 5,000 students.

The school teaches kitesurfing, hydrofoil and wing foil lessons, private by default with group options, plus kite and foil camps. Its instructors are IKO and Kiteboarding Australia trained, and one of them is an IKO examiner. It also runs IKO instructor courses.

It also runs an online shop of new and used gear: kites, twin tips, kite and foil boards, hydrofoils, bars, harnesses and wings. It shares its team with Gold Coast Kiteboarding, which also teaches in Byron Bay.
