Ocean Freaks Watersports

Ocean Freaks is a kitesurf school on Santa Marianita beach near Manta, Ecuador. It is an IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) affiliated centre, based on the part of the beach that the school describes as the safest for kiting, with a private beach club.

It offers kitesurf lessons, rental of equipment from leading brands, foil sessions and, on the side, PADI-certified scuba lessons. The school states that it never runs lessons in unsuitable conditions. Part of what is spent on its services goes to the non-profit Ocean Freaks, which protects marine life and the Santa Marianita wildlife corridor.
