Humboldt Kites

Humboldt Kites is a kitesurf centre right on the Santa Marianita beach spot near Manta, on Ecuador's Pacific coast. Its website presents the beach as the best in the country for wind sports, with conditions for beginners through to experienced riders and steady wind from May to January.

The school offers lessons with certified instructors for all levels, as well as personalised coaching. The centre rents premium gear, has secure storage, a kite repair workshop and an air compressor, and a kite shop completes the offer.

On site there are also private rooms a few steps from the water, designed for kiters, a restaurant, a relaxation area, changing rooms and beach toilets.
