Pescao is a kitesurf and windsurf school on the shores of Lake Calima, in the municipality of Darién (Valle del Cauca), about 100 km from Cali. The orange-fronted building sits one kilometre past the dam.
The kitesurf course lasts about 8 hours: theory on land, then practice on the water (kite control, body drag, board recovery, riding upwind and downwind), with a school boat accompanying student and instructor. Full equipment is provided: kite, harness, board, vest and wetsuit. An English-speaking instructor is available. The windsurf course starts with 30 minutes of theory and 1 hour 30 on the water. The school also rents equipment and has a land training area.
On site: monthly equipment storage, two private rooms, six tents, and a viewpoint restaurant overlooking the lake serving regional food.
