Hakanini Surf School

Hakanini Surf School is a surf school and board hire point based in the Papamoa Domain carpark on Papamoa Beach. It teaches children and adults, from first-timers to surfers who want to improve.

The instructors, described as qualified, also explain waves, rips and currents so that students understand the ocean as well as the technique. No equipment is needed, just bring your togs.

Boards can also be hired, and an online store with Hakanini Surf apparel is open.
