Auckland Windsurfing is a windsurfing school and rental centre at Raymond Street Reserve in Point Chevalier, fifteen minutes from central Auckland. It is owned and run by Pete Smith, a Windsurfing New Zealand Master Instructor, and teaches windsurfing and wing foiling.
The beginner windsurf course is two 2-hour sessions, with group or one-on-one lessons. The school rents boards for beginners and experienced windsurfers as well as stand up paddleboards, and runs a three-day, two-hours-a-day holiday programme for young people. Boards come from Naish, Tabou and Starboard, and sails from Naish, Gaastra and Hot.
