Christchurch Surf Lessons is a surf school based at Sumner Beach in Christchurch, opposite 50 Esplanade. It offers lessons all year for children from age 4, teenagers and adults.
The offer includes two-hour group lessons, 90-minute private lessons, the women's "Surf Sistas" programme over 4, 8 or 12 weeks, after-school surfing, school-holiday programmes, multi-day surf camps, school day programmes and corporate team building. Some school and corporate programmes run at other Canterbury beaches.
The school also hires surfboards and wetsuits, from two hours up to three months. It displays several accreditations and partners (Qualmark Gold, Surfing New Zealand, ISA, Surf Life Saving).
