School Presentation
KiteSpot Ameland is a kitesurf school founded by Henk and Leon, who have taught on the island of Ameland for several years, from sunrise to after sunset all summer, straight from the beach. A team of in-house trained instructors teaches with the same method.
The island allows kitesurfing in any wind direction, on the North Sea side as well as the Wadden Sea side. The school offers an introduction lesson and 2.5-hour lessons with no more than two students per instructor, a three-lesson package to become independent, private lessons, group activities and a kitesurf week with luxury safari-tent accommodation, meals and three lessons.
Equipment is supplied, with Core kites. The school is listed by the NKV (Dutch kitesurfing association) among recognised schools, with instructors certified by the Watersportverbond.
