Surfmotion Soma Bay

Surfmotion is a water sports centre in Soma Bay dedicated to windsurfing, kitesurfing and wingfoiling, based in the grounds of the Palm Royale Resort in Abu Soma. It opened in 2005 under Peter Müller and is one of the largest water sports centres in Egypt.

Soma Bay offers flat, shallow water with a thermal wind that builds during the morning. The centre offers windsurf lessons for beginners and advanced riders, rental of windsurf, kite and paddle equipment, a repair workshop and a rescue boat.
