KBC Ras Soma is the Kiteboarding Club's kitesurf and wingfoil centre in Soma Bay, right on the sandy beach, 1 km south of the Steigenberger resort. The sheltered bay gives flat water that suits beginners and intermediate riders.
Lessons run in very small groups (two people at most) with boat support, usually in cross-offshore wind, taught by a certified instructor team. The centre also rents kitesurf and wingfoil equipment.
A shuttle serves all hotels in Soma Bay: guests simply send a WhatsApp message to order a taxi. The centre is open year round.
