Surfana Bloemendaal aan Zee

Surfana Bloemendaal aan Zee is the surf school of Surfana, set on the beach at Bloemendaal aan Zee, close to Zandvoort and Haarlem and a short trip from Amsterdam. It sits just below the car park next to the beach restaurant, with changing rooms, showers and a place to relax.

Lessons are taught by certified surf instructors in groups of up to eight, for adults and for children from 6 years old. The offer includes a trial lesson, a 3-lesson card, a 5-lesson surf week and private lessons; boards can be rented at reception.

Surfana, which reports almost twenty years of experience, also runs a surf club here (the Surfana Surfclub) for surfing year-round, as well as summer camps for young people, family stays and group outings. The company has a second school on the island of Vlieland.

School open from April to September; the Surfclub carries on through autumn and winter.
