The Spot Zandvoort

The Spot is a watersports centre on the beach at Zandvoort (Barnaart access), combining a board-sports school, a beach club with restaurant and an events venue for companies and groups. The team describes it as a playground where the North Sea meets surf culture.

It teaches surfing, kitesurfing, SUP and wing; for kitesurfing it has an official kite zone at Zandvoort, with a maximum of three students per instructor, and offers trial, private, group and multi-day lessons, progression courses and Kids Kite Clinics for ages 11 to 16. The school is affiliated with the NKV (Dutch kitesurfing association), its instructors are certified by the Watersportverbond (KNWV), and it also provides equipment rental and storage.

In summer, week-long camps combine surfing and beach activities. Kitesurf lessons run from late April to late September.
