Surfschule Cuxhaven (Surfstation Sahlenburg)

Surfschule Cuxhaven is a VDWS kitesurf and windsurf station on the beach at Sahlenburg in Cuxhaven, on the North Sea. It also serves as a placement school for training future instructors and watersports assistants.

The school offers kitesurf, windsurf and stand up paddle lessons, equipment rental and spot information, including Kugelbake and Sahlenburg, with a webcam. The 2026 season ended with an end-of-season barbecue on 3 October at the Sahlenburg station, and its 2026 school and rental gear is up for sale.
