Paddy in the Elements Watersports

Paddy in the Elements is a kitesurf and wing foil school based at Silverstrand, near Barna village on Galway Bay. It operates from a trailer on the beach and describes itself as Ireland's only British Kitesurfing Association recognised school.

It teaches kitesurfing, wing foiling and parawing, in private lessons, on Silverstrand's shallow lagoon. Gear demo days are held when the wind is on.

An online shop offers equipment (kites, foils, wetsuits) with free collection in Barna; there is no shop counter. Brands sold include Ozone, Core, F-One, Appletree and Code Foils, for which the school says it is the exclusive Irish dealer.
