CS Watersports Academy

CS Watersports Academy is a kitesurfing school based at The Bluff in Hayle, on St Ives Bay in Cornwall. The team, led by two-time British champion Craig Smith, claims more than fifty years of combined experience in watersports.

The school runs BKSA kitesurfing courses (a 2.5-hour first day, then 2- or 3-day formats), boardwork sessions, intermediate and advanced coaching, a 6-hour VIP course and power kite lessons. Teaching is one-to-one unless requested otherwise. Depending on the wind, lessons can also take place at other Cornish beaches (Gwithian, Perranporth, Watergate Bay, Sennen).

The centre also teaches wing foiling, kite foiling, paddleboarding and surfing, hires kitesurfing and paddleboard equipment and runs a youth academy. It works with Airush and Ion, and an online shop is linked to the business.
