Ostsee-Kiteschule

Ostsee-Kiteschule has been teaching kitesurfing since 2007 on the Greifswald bay, at the Lubmin marina. Lessons take place only in shallow, stand-up water, at five spots chosen according to the wind direction.

Lessons run seven days a week, and booked hours are kept if there is not enough wind. The programme includes a taster, basic and compact courses, a five-day camp, progression courses, supervised kiting, private lessons, a self-rescue course, wing and wingfoil lessons, stand up paddle lessons and rental, and kite equipment rental.

It is also a training base for kite instructors (WWS-WWC licence). An online shop sells new and used gear.

Lessons daily in season; the 2026 season opened on Good Friday (3 April).
