Bleukite Essaouira

A school founded and run by riders from Essaouira, on Boulevard Mohammed V, about a hundred metres from the kite and surf zone. It presents itself as the town's first school and claims more than twenty-five years of teaching kitesurfing and surfing; the Bleukite trademark has been registered since 2007. On the programme: kitesurfing, wingfoiling, kitefoiling and surfing, in groups of three to four, semi-private with two students per instructor, or private, with IKO-certified instructors and radio-helmet coaching.

The centre picks the spot of the day according to conditions and the group's level, and drives you there. On the base: gear rinsing, showers, changing rooms, lockers, breakfast, storage for your own equipment, a surf shop, a photo session, an end-of-course certificate, and a repair workshop — something few schools in the bay advertise. The rental fleet is renewed and advertised as Ozone, Prolimit and Naish, with every kite and board size available and free size changes as the weather turns; the minimum level to rent is being able to ride upwind and return to your starting point, or holding an IKO level 3 certificate.

Bleukite also sells seven-day, six-night « Stay & Ride » packages with lessons and accommodation, and runs supervised downwinders along the coast as well as surf trips. If the wind does not show, the session is moved later the same day or to the next, and lessons not taken are refunded. The team answers mainly on WhatsApp.

Open seven days a week, 9 am to 6.30 pm. No seasonal closure is announced.
