BoujX Sports

BoujX Sports is the club of Boujmaa Guilloul, 2016 IWT wave windsurfing world champion and winner of the Aloha Classic in Hawaii the same year. Based at Sidi Kaouki, it ranges across the whole Essaouira coast — Moulay Bouzerktoun, Cap Sim, La Couronne, Jorf, l'Oued — picking the spot according to the day's wind and swell.

Coaching is what the house lives on: five-day wave clinics led by Boujmaa, video debriefs, wingfoil lessons from first flight to refinement, surf lessons, and windsurf, kitesurf and surf rental. The centre carries wave and freewave boards from 68 to 114 litres and sails from 3.0 to 5.9 m², up to ten windsurfers at a time, plus a range of epoxy surfboards shaped on site by local shaper Fahd alongside foamies, mini-malibus, fishes, shortboards and longboards.

The business also goes by the name Kaouki Karma Surf, which it keeps on its social accounts and in its second email address: it is the same outfit. Accommodation runs through a partner guest house on an all-inclusive basis, and the club organises transport to the spots.

No season published. The 2027 wave clinics are announced for 19-24 April and 9-16 May at advanced level, 21-28 May and 5-12 June at intermediate level.

For surfing, the club names winter as its best months, when the swells are cleanest, and reports small beach-break sessions through the summer.
