Aftas Trip

Aftas Trip is a surf lodge and spa set above the ocean, away from Mirleft, at the hamlet of Igouramen Sahel along the coast road. Seventeen bungalows are spread through a garden of palms and banana trees around a swimming pool, with an eighty-seat restaurant, several terraces, guarded parking and wifi.

Among its facilities the lodge lists a surf school and a fishing club, as well as the rental and sale of water sports and fishing equipment. A shuttle runs to the beach and the lodge arranges airport transfers; it rents cars, 4WDs, minibuses, mopeds and bicycles, and offers babysitting and a dry-cleaning service. No detail of the surf school — coaching, levels, hours, prices — is published.

The Moorish bath offers three hammam formulas, oriental, black soap or royal, each with a steam bath, a natural beauty treatment, deep body smoothing and a relaxing or toning massage. Inland, the lodge organises hiking, horseback riding and one- to three-day 4WD expeditions to the Souss-Massa national park, the troglodyte caves, the cliffs and the dunes, notably to watch the northern bald ibis.
