School Presentation
Mirleft Surf Guiding is a surf school and camp in the Les Amicales district of Mirleft, above the beaches of Morocco's Atlantic coast. The team, led by local instructor Youssef, teaches surfing at every level and guides more experienced surfers around the region's waves: Mirleft beach for beginners, Aftas, Legzira and Sidi Ifni for the committed, along some sixty kilometres of coast.
The house also teaches stand-up paddle and rents boards out. Its days are rounded out with dune surfing, diving and fishing. Guests stay on site, in rooms, lounges and rooftop terraces open onto the village and the ocean, with Moroccan cooking made from fresh local produce. The week-long packages bundle lessons or guiding, nights and meals.
The outfit says it gives 5 % of its takings to support young surfers in the region, and takes payment on the spot. It teaches no kitesurfing, wing foiling or windsurfing.
