School Presentation

Nex Generation Surf School has been giving surf lessons in Cocoa Beach, Florida, for more than ten years, for beginners and intermediate surfers of all ages. It is run by Brian Gale, who has surfed for 25 years, competed as an amateur, judges for ESA Central Florida and was Florida state champion in 1999; the team includes other instructors from the local competition scene.

Lessons are private, semi-private (2 students) or in groups (3 students minimum), lasting 1, 2 or 3 hours. Soft boards are provided and each session starts with a 15-minute talk on ocean safety and marine life.

Every summer the school runs a Monday-to-Friday surf camp from 9 am to noon at the Sheppard Park Pavilion in Cocoa Beach, with ten weeks scheduled in 2026 (June 1 to August 7), as well as spring break camps, weekend clinics and advanced coaching. It also rents surfboards (soft-top, epoxy, fiberglass) and runs skateboarding clinics.
