Hawaiian Surfing Adventures is a family-owned surf and paddle school in Hanalei, on the island of Kauai, Hawaii, operating since 2000. The shop is at 5-5134 Kuhio Highway, and students check in there 30 minutes before their lesson.
Each surf lesson lasts 1.5 hours: 30 minutes on the beach for basics and safety, then one hour in the water catching wave after wave in Hanalei Bay. Paddle lessons also last 1.5 hours. The school rents gear and runs a small boutique.
