Cape Sports Center Langebaan

Cape Sports Center is a watersports centre right on the beach in Langebaan, established in 1993 according to its website. It started with windsurfing and kitesurfing before adding wing foiling and e-foiling, and says it has over thirty years of experience on a lagoon about 20 km long and 1.5 km wide.

The centre teaches kitesurfing, windsurfing, wing foiling and e-foiling with qualified instructors, and also offers downwinders from Shark Bay to the main beach or Club Mykonos with transport organised, as well as surfing, SUP, kayaking and pilates. It rents windsurfing, kitesurfing and wing foiling equipment, plus surfboards, SUPs and bodyboards.

On site: a 600 m² wind-protected rigging area, changing rooms with showers, a rental desk, a shop (importer of Tabou, Gaastra, Select and Prolimit, plus Quiksilver, Roxy, Fox and Rip Curl clothing) and the Wunderbar rooftop bar. Nearby accommodation (Puza Moya, Villa 2, Sealord Studio, Kite Manor) can be booked through the website.

Sports centre: every day 9 am to 5 pm. Wunderbar: every day from 9 am until sundown. According to the website, October to March typically has 20 to 25 days per month with winds over 20 knots.
