Obsession Kiting is an IKO Pro Centre on Langebaan Lagoon, founded in 2017 by two sisters, Megan and Shannon du Plessis. Megan has taught kitesurfing since 2012, and the business is women-owned. According to the website, Pro Centre status allows the school to train and certify new instructors as well as teach students.
The school runs kitesurfing and wing foiling lessons, private or in small groups, with a rescue boat and a two-way radio helmet on every lesson and all equipment included (kite, board, bar, harness, wetsuit, helmet, impact vest). Wakeboarding behind the boat is offered on no-wind days.
Obsession Kiting rents kitesurfing and wing equipment (current-season Duotone gear) to independent riders, with a rescue pass included. Renters first take a short evaluation on the water.
