Pro Surf Imsouane

Pro Surf Imsouane is the villa and surf-and-yoga camp opened in Imsouane by Brahim Habib Allah, a former Rip Curl team rider and Moroccan champion, founder of Pro Surf Morocco. It is the same group's second base: the first, Pro Surf Morocco, has been in Tamraght since 2014, and both houses share the team, the motto “Come as a guest, leave as a friend” and the site's footer. Work on the Imsouane house started in 2022; it stands a minute's walk from the bay.

Stays are sold by the week, all inclusive: seven nights in a double, triple, family, single or dorm room, all with en-suite bathrooms, six days of coaching with two hours each morning and free surf in the afternoon, equipment, the daily shuttle to whichever spot suits the conditions, breakfasts, five Moroccan dinners and transfers from Agadir or Essaouira. Instructors are ISA certified and groups are capped at six people.

Four packages are offered: beginner, intermediate and advanced, a longboard special with guiding and lunch on the beach, and a surf-and-yoga package with four yoga sessions. The house is built in Berber style in stone and wood, with wooden rooftop terraces, hammocks and views over the bay and Cathedral Point. A women-only dorm is available. Optional trips: the Timlalin dunes, Essaouira, cooking classes, hammam, surfskate.

Reachable 24/7 by message. Lesson times are posted every day in the guests' WhatsApp group: they follow the tides, the swell and the weather.

Typical day: optional sunrise session, breakfast at 8:30am, departure for the day's spot, two hours of coaching, free surf in the afternoon, Moroccan tea at 5pm, yoga at 6:30pm on the surf-and-yoga package.
