Imi Bay Surf House & School

Imi Bay is a surf house in Imsouane running its own school, a minute's walk from the shore, in the Amadel subdivision of the Aftas quarter. The building holds apartments and double rooms with ocean views, a restaurant with a garden, terraces and a rooftop pool looking over the bay to the south and the Cathedral break to the north.

Lessons run two hours with a certified instructor and a maximum of four people per group, including warm-up, safety briefing, theory and end-of-session feedback; wetsuit and soft-top are provided, along with camera-monitored board storage, a changing cabin and an outdoor shower. The school also runs a three-hour longboard workshop for intermediate surfers focused on cross-stepping and nose riding, with coaching, photography and session analysis, plus an in-house surf photography service.

Board rental is the house's strong point: 7ft to 9ft soft-tops for beginners, epoxy boards, longboards and shortboards from well-known shapers (Chipiron, Chris Christenson, Channel Islands, Firewire, Indio, Stray Dog and Morocco's own Fahd), with discounts from three full days.

Contact and reception from 8am to 10pm. Breakfast from 8am; the restaurant is open every day for lunch and dinner.
