Dakhla Camp

Dakhla Camp is a kitesurf and wingfoil camp at the northern end of the Dakhla lagoon, on the Route de la Lagune, 28 km from the town centre and 30 km from the airport. The lagoon is 100 m away, the wild beach 500 m. The camp has 19 rooms and suites — standard, deluxe and ocean-view bungalows and a deluxe suite — a restaurant facing the lagoon and a panoramic pool; the airport shuttle is free.

The school teaches kitesurfing and wingfoiling with IKO-certified instructors who speak French and English, one-to-one or semi-private, from first lesson to advanced. Sessions use radio helmets so instructor and student can talk, a rescue boat on the water, and a return shuttle between the accommodation and the spot, included in every session. The camp says it sits on the flattest part of the lagoon.

Rental gear is Duotone: kites and bars, twin-tips, wings, wingfoil boards and surfboards, by the half-day or day, with wetsuits and harnesses on request. A 24-hour monitored locker park stands directly on the spot — storing gear in the rooms is not allowed — with launch and landing assistance, a washing and pumping area, changing rooms and Wi-Fi. Card payment is accepted on site.
