Dakhla Evasion Resort & Spa

Dakhla Evasion Resort & Spa stands at kilometre marker 27 on the El Argoub road, on the western shore of the lagoon, some thirty kilometres from Dakhla. Run by Caroline and Ghali, it is independent of the lagoon's hotel groups. The camp has 34 units — 20 m² standard bungalows, 30 m² chalets perched on top of the dune, 35 m² family bungalows and 82 m² suites — around an outdoor pool sheltered from the wind, one of the few on the lagoon.

The school teaches kitesurfing, wingfoiling and surfing, in private lessons or semi-private lessons of no more than two students, and runs weekly downwinders as well as wave sessions on the ocean side. The camp is an official F-One partner: Bandit kites and Trax boards make up the rental fleet, available all year, and the shop sells F-One and Manera gear along with Rip Curl clothing. The IKO directory lists the school at School-Plus level and notes that it teaches from a boat.

The resort also provides a storage room for guests' own equipment, stand-up paddle, boat trips, a yoga room with qualified teachers, a gym open around the clock, a kids' club with childcare from 8am to 6pm, a full-board restaurant, a beach bar and a 50 m² meeting room.
